About Me

I’m JC Miller, founder of Miller LTY.

I spent 10 years in “big law” firms representing a multitude of national clients and Fortune 500 companies. However, the further I progressed down the coveted partnership track, the more I realized I wanted more out of life than just a steady paycheck. After becoming a certified yoga teacher in 2020 I decided to take a different route and combine my true passions—yoga, travel, adventure—with my legal experience.

LTY stands for Legal Travel Yoga. The legal represents my virtual law office, which is based in Seattle but has no true brick and mortar location. This means you get quality representation without inflated rates that come with traditional law firms. The travel represents my passion for hiking and exploring new places, which is manifested by several vacation rentals that I own and manage throughout the Pacific Northwest. The yoga means all aspects of this company are practiced mindfully and in the best interest of the client, not the company’s bottom line.

I grew up in Gulf Shores, a small town along the Alabama Gulf Coast that my parents still proudly call home. After graduating high school, I attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, playing Division-III football and majoring in philosophy. I completed my academic career in 2012, graduating from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, cum laude, while also serving as the Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review.

Let’s talk about how Miller LTY can help you.
